American Kickers Motorcycle Club donate shoes to Healthy Start

October 03, 2017

On Saturday September 9, 2017, Healthy Start Staff Tanya Biasotti and Laura Garcia were able to receive a very generous donation of 300 pairs of shoes from a very caring group of community members.

The American Kickers Motorcycle Club identified Healthy Start as a worthy cause for their philanthropic event.  They rode around the lake and ended at Highlands Springs Park, where they culminated their riding event by presenting the shoe donations to Laura and Tanya.

The donations were divided amongst all Healthy Start sites around the county’s school districts, and will most definitely help a needy child.  The American Kickers wish to continue working with Healthy Start annually to help the students of Lake County.

The Lake County Office of Education Healthy Start Program Staff give thanks to the American Kickers Motorcycle Club for their generosity and support of the children in Lake County Schools.
